San Angelo Regional Airport - Mathis Field (airport code: SJT) is the only commercial airport serving the Concho Valley, with more than 150 aircraft based at Mathis Field.
SJT is owned by the City of San Angelo.

REAL ID

Terminal hours
Opens 90 minutes prior to first departure until 30 minutes after final airline arrival daily.
Airline ticket counters and the TSA screening checkpoint are open at least 1.5 hours before the time of the first scheduled departures. Ticket counters close 45 minutes prior to departure. Contact your airline to confirm ticket counter opening and departure times.
Airport administration
The Airport Administrative office is located within the terminal building. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Airport officials assist with such issues as business opportunities, building availability, airport fees, airport regulations, tenant services and other airport and facility management issues.

Community impact
The 2018 Texas Aviation Economic Impact Study conducted by the State of Texas Department of Transportation showed that SJT has a total economic impact of $124.3 million to the community, providing for 1,218 jobs.
