The City of San Angelo will be opening a warming shelter from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. each night beginning Tuesday, Jan. 24, through Thursday, Jan. 26, at Carl Ray Johnson Recreation Center, 1103 Farr St. Warming shelter operations will not resume until further notice after 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27.
Volunteers are needed to help run the warming shelter; sign up at bit.ly/citywarmingshelter. The American Red Cross will provide cots.
Animals are permitted but must not aggressive or disruptive.
