Regardless of the Tom Green County burn ban status, the open burning of construction materials, brush, rubbish, etc. is never permitted inside the city limits. Citations may be issued for illegal burning.
Don’t miss A Murder at Fort Concho on Oct. 18 & 19! From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., step into a real-life “Clue” game as you question historical figures across the fort to solve a chilling mystery. Start at the Visitor Center (Barracks 1) for your clue sheet and orientation, then explore the site to uncover the truth. Cold water and light snacks will be provided. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for Fort Concho members. The last sleuths will be sent out at 9:15 p.m. It’s a thrilling whodunit you won’t want to miss!
