Regardless of the Tom Green County burn ban status, the open burning of construction materials, brush, rubbish, etc. is never permitted inside the city limits. Citations may be issued for illegal burning.
From 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, the City of San Angelo will host a Q&A session centered on San Angelo streets. Operations Director Patrick Frerich will give a presentation about how the City approaches street maintenance and construction before taking questions from the audience.
The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. This meeting will be livestreamed to SATV, Optimum Channel 17 and rebroadcast online at a later date.
