Regardless of the Tom Green County burn ban status, the open burning of construction materials, brush, rubbish, etc. is never permitted inside the city limits. Citations may be issued for illegal burning.
Join the San Angelo Fire Department as they celebrate the retirement and promotion of several of its firefighters. The event will be held at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. Cake and punch will be served.
